Discover Our Story

Founded in 2020 by Ashley Lewis and Antione "Roc" Meredith in Richmond, Virginia, The Beet Box was born from a shared passion for health, wellness, hospitality, and community. As the world navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the founders transformed their vision into a vibrant juice bar that made fresh, nourishing food and beverages more accessible to a growing community focused on living well. Today, The Beet Box is proudly owned and operated by Ashley Lewis.
What began as an idea has grown into a thriving destination with a second location in Richmond's historic Church Hill neighborhood. In 2026, The Beet Box will expand with a third location at Richmond International Airport, bringing fresh smoothies, cold-pressed juices, wraps, and wholesome meals to travelers from around the world while introducing them to a local Richmond favorite.
Our mission is to make healthy living vibrant, approachable, and attainable. We believe lasting wellness is rooted in caring for the mind, body, and spirit, and we're committed to creating meaningful experiences that nourish our community while celebrating the culture, creativity, and connection that make Richmond unique.
